“It’s taken off the litigation section of the SEC website only (there’s no ‘appeals’ section). But when you look on the actual appellate court website, it’s still there and nothing new has been filed,” he said, probably while shaking his head at the confusion. 🤦‍♂️

In a twist of fate that would make even the best soap opera writers envious, the SEC filed an opening brief in its appeal against Ripple just this month. Talk about keeping the drama alive! 🎭

Ripple, not one to be outdone, has brushed off the appeal like a pesky fly, claiming it’s just a lot of noise. They seem to be convinced that the new pro-crypto SEC administration will toss this case into the dusty archives. 🗄️

Last week, the San Francisco-based blockchain company asked for a due date of April 16 to file its own opening brief. It’s like they’re saying, “We’ll see your appeal and raise you one!” 🎲
