It looks like PlayStation accidentally revealed the release date for the upcoming game, Romeo is a Dead Man. This happened just before the game’s developer is scheduled to showcase it.
Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio behind the No More Heroes series, recently unveiled their next game, Romeo is a Dead Man, during a State of Play presentation in June 2025. Created by Suda51, the game promises a fast-paced and chaotic experience, staying true to his signature style. Early previews have received a positive response. While a full presentation is scheduled for December 5th, PlayStation may have accidentally revealed the game’s release date beforehand.

The release date for ‘The Romeo’ was accidentally revealed on PlayStation’s own app and store. HazzadorGaming first noticed that clicking on the game showed a release date of February 11th, 2026, instead of the usual placeholder text. The official PlayStation store also lists this date. While this seems likely, it’s still not an official announcement, so it’s best to view it as unconfirmed for now.
Okay, so it looks like PlayStation might have accidentally shown off Romeo is a Dead Man a bit early – it probably would’ve been a big reveal during their presentation. The upcoming ‘Grasshopper Direct’ is just a quick five-minute look, completely focused on that game. But hey, we’re still going to see some new gameplay, so it’s not a total spoiler! Honestly, with The Game Awards coming up, I’m hoping no other release dates leak. But if this is true, it means we can officially add Romeo is a Dead Man to our 2026 must-play list, which is awesome!
What are your thoughts on the leaked release date for Romeo is a Dead Man? Does February seem like a good time for the game to come out? Are you looking forward to seeing more of it?
