Developer TVGS has rolled out a fresh beta version of their hit crime game, incorporating a fresh batch of bug fixes and enhancements to gameplay. This newest beta update can currently be accessed within the game’s beta section on Steam. Assuming no unforeseen complications arise, a complete release should follow soon.
Following the sudden surge in popularity on Steam, the lone developer behind Schedule 1 has consistently dedicated efforts to enrich the game with additional content, bug fixes, and enhancements for user experience. A beta version of the latest update is out now, while the full release of version 0.3.4 was just unveiled less than a week ago. The previous update for Schedule 1 brought in a vast array of new features and significant modifications. Players can now explore Bleuballs Boutique, where they can buy decorative items, and the Pawn Shop, which enables them to sell various items.
On April 15th, TVGS launched another beta update for Schedule 1. To access this update, gamers need to go to Schedule 1 on Steam, right-click the game, and then click Properties. After that, select Betas from the dropdown menu and change the Beta Participation to Beta. The game will then automatically update, enabling players to explore the new bug fixes and enhancements. According to the official patch notes (available further down this article), version 0.3.4f5 lets players interact with their employees’ inventories by talking to them. This should help prevent items from going missing, as some players were reporting that workers were inadvertently taking items due to a bug.
TVGS’s latest update, version 0.3.4f5, not only brings gameplay enhancements but also addresses some critical bugs. For instance, chemists and botanists were causing instability in cauldrons and drying racks respectively, a problem that has now been rectified. Additionally, the new Pawn Shop introduced in last week’s update was experiencing an issue where its owner, Mick, was often unavailable, making the shop unusable for many players. This problem stemmed from scheduling conflicts when Mick was assigned to a Dealer. Fortunately, this issue has been addressed in the current beta update, ensuring that Mick will be available at the Pawn Shop during your next visit.
Unfortunately, the beta version of the update doesn’t come with fresh content, but there are still exciting developments to anticipate. The game’s lone developer, Tyler, has shared that he’s been working diligently on optimizing the title for better performance on Steam Deck. At present, it’s playable on the device, delivering around 40 to 60 frames per second for some users, but official verification is yet to be confirmed. Though a specific timeline isn’t provided, Tyler has assured us that Steam Deck compatibility will be included in an upcoming update.
