Schedule 1: How to Use a Chemist

In the seemingly tranquil town of Hyland Point, it might come as a shock that it’s an ideal spot for peddling illicit goods. Right from the start of the game, you’ll encounter challenges meeting the demand. Before long, you’ll need to bring on several workers at quite a hefty cost. Yet, overseeing them can be tricky or, more accurately, perplexing. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to utilize the Chemist in the Schedule 1.

It’s not unexpected that chemists tend to have higher wage rates compared to other workers, given their ability to operate intricate machinery and create costly products, thus sparing you valuable time and energy.

How to Unlock a Chemist in Schedule 1

Prior to being able to employ assistants, you’ll first need to negotiate on the street until your Hustler rank reaches V. Once that’s accomplished, make sure to stop by the Warehouse and converse with Manny. He assists players in hiring highly competent workers for a modest fee. In order to hire a Chemist in Schedule 1, you will require $1,600 in cash on hand. Keep in mind that Chemists charge $300 per day for their services.

Similar to other workers listed in Schedule 1, Chemists will only perform tasks once they receive explicit directions. To designate a bed for a worker, simply press the 9 key to bring out your Clipboard, then choose a worker and allocate a workspace to them. Similarly, you’ll need to specify workstations for the Chemists to carry out their duties at.

  • Chemistry Stations
  • Mixing Stations
  • Lab Ovens
  • Cauldrons

It’s worth mentioning that Chemists classified under Schedule 1 are unable to transfer resources to certain locations directly. Instead, you’ll require Handlers to stock the stations with essential items first, following which the Chemists can commence their tasks.

How to Get a Chemist Worker to Mix Multiple Mixers in Schedule 1

As a gamer, I’ve found Mixing Stations in Schedule 1 to be an incredible asset when crafting exclusive and high-value items. To boost my income even further, I often repeat the process of mixing one product multiple times. However, it’s essential to know that automating this process can be quite challenging. Fortunately, we’ve designed a perfect setup to help with that hurdle:

  1. First, hire a Chemist and a Handler.
  2. Then, buy up to 4 Mixers and more shelves.
  3. After placing the Mixers, take the Clipboard and interact with each of the stations in order to assign the destination to the next one. In the last one, the destination should be a shelf.
  4. Then, put separate shelves for mixing for each Mixer. Place only one type of resource on each of them, for example, an Energy Drink.
  5. Assigning the Handler to drag items from shelf 1 to Mixer 1, from shelf 2 to Mixer 2, etc.
  6. Finally, assign the Chemist to work on all Mixers to produce complex goods in Schedule 1.

Your Chemist might not be functioning properly due to several reasons. One of the most frequent issues is a glitch that can be resolved by simply restarting the game. Another potential cause could be that a new type of product has been unlocked, which won’t move to its intended location until you manually interact with it. To ensure everything works smoothly, we recommend setting up the new item manually for the first time.
