Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic figure behind the Shiba Inu team who goes by that pseudonym, has resurfaced on social media after a prolonged absence to debunk SHIB rumors and share significant updates about the upcoming version of ShibaSwap exchange with the community.
Shytoshi Kusama slams fudders, teases major update
The screenshot of Kusama’s social media post was shared on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) by the official marketing lead of the Shiba Inu team, Lucie.
Kusama referred to a particular individual, Fudder, using capital letters intentionally without mentioning their name. Shytoshi shared that he had invested considerable effort, time, and emotion into creating SHIB and Shibarium.
The unidentified person leading SHIB, derisively referred to as a “fudder,” retorts: “You’re an insignificant troublemaker who doesn’t deserve the air in your lungs. May all your deceit be magnified upon your soul endlessly until you apologize.”
In the same image that Lucie posted, Shytoshi answered a question from another user about the timeline for releasing a new version of ShibaSwap decentralized exchange – named ShibaSwap 2.0.
Kusama responded to that: “Pretty soon,” then adding albeit ironically: “ShibaSwap 1.75 first.”
Previously, the SHIB lead communicated with the large SHIB community on Twitter/X around early April. He encouraged everyone to attend the Meme Night in Dubai organized by Metis and Freelabs, where SHIB team representatives would be present. At that time, he shared that he had been putting in long hours and had therefore been silent without sharing any recent developments or announcements.
Close to half billion SHIB burned
Based on Shibburn’s data, the Shiba Inu community has managed to decrease the amount of SHIB in circulation over the past week.
Although the number of SHIB tokens burned daily during this timeframe wasn’t consistently huge, the Shib Army has nevertheless disposed of a significant amount – approximately 450,995,857 SHIB coins. However, this represents a 49.32% decrease in burn rate compared to the previous week.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 6,989,628 SHIB coins were moved to inaccessible wallets on the blockchain, resulting in a daily burn rate that is over 98% lower than usual.
