It’s been noted that Shiba Inu community members have unwittingly been included in several Telegram groups. These supposedly authentic Shiba Inu channels, however, are actually involved in deceitful practices aimed at exploiting the SHIB community.

Fraudsters mimic authentic Shiba Inu profiles, enticing investors with untrue offers like airdrops, presents, and gratis tokens. Using advanced techniques, they disguise themselves as legitimate community platforms, making it challenging to distinguish between truth and deception.

Due to a concerning turn of events, security experts are now advising caution and sharing instructions for protecting yourself from unwanted actions. In response, “Shibarmy Scam Alerts” strongly recommends SHIB investors to modify their Telegram privacy settings, specifically by denying unauthorized group invitations and adding only verified contacts to your whitelist.

SHIB holders are urged by “Shibarmy Scam Alerts” to exercise caution and not share their main wallet addresses for airdrops. Instead, creating a new wallet with a fresh seed phrase is recommended as a preventative measure. This action ensures that the holder’s primary assets remain secure even if the airdrop turns out to be fraudulent.

Certain airdrops might ask participants to prove they own specific assets in order to receive rewards. It’s essential to assess whether the potential gains are worth the risk of disclosing your assets for the chance of receiving complimentary tokens.

Elsewhere, Shiba Inu managed to rake in $12 million by offloading its yet-to-be-released token, TREAT, to international venture capitalists including Polygon Ventures and Animoca Brands.
