As a seasoned crypto investor with years of experience under my belt, I can’t stress enough how important it is to stay vigilant against scams in this industry. The latest warning from “Shibarmy Scam Alert” regarding impersonators pretending to be SHIB team members is a prime example of why we need to be on high alert.
The “Shibarmy Scam Alert” (@susbarium) account on the X platform has sounded the alarm, advising the worldwide SHIB community to be cautious as fraudsters persistently pose as representatives of the SHIB project’s development team.
As a crypto investor, I’ve come across a suspicious development. Recently, a new Telegram account surfaced, claiming to be run by SHIB‘s lead developer, Kaal Dhairya. However, I believe it’s an imposter account, as the information being shared doesn’t align with the official project updates. Always double-check any information from social media sources against the project’s official channels or websites before taking any action.
Scam alert and warning issued to community
As an analyst, I’d like to emphasize that the “Shibarmy Scam Alert” serves as a crucial reminder for the SHIB community regarding the malicious intentions of impersonators and scammers. Their primary objective is to disseminate false information, which could lead users to question the authenticity of a project. Moreover, these individuals aim to redirect unsuspecting users towards counterfeit websites and manipulate them into revealing sensitive personal details, which could be exploited for nefarious purposes later on.
The security-conscious account underscored the significance of engaging with authentic team representatives and cautioned users against interacting with individuals claiming to be from the SHIB team who reach out via DMs, ask for wallet access, or request sensitive information.
TREAT token warning
As a researcher, I’ve come across an important update from a trusted source two days ago. They issued another warning about the potential scam surrounding the upcoming TREAT token. This token is expected to be integrated into the layer-3 solution once it’s developed on Shibarium’s blockchain and released.
The SHIB team has not officially announced the launch of TREAT, contrary to some recent reports. An anti-scam account urges the SHIB community to exercise caution and abstain from any transactions or investments pertaining to TREAT until its release is authenticated by reliable sources. Additionally, they advise against engaging in unauthorized activities related to TREAT to avoid potential risks.
SHIB burns on rise
As a crypto investor, I’m excited to share some recent news about Shiba Inu (SHIB). The Shibburn account announced an impressive surge in the burn rate today. Over the past 24 hours, there was a significant jump of 19.64%. This means that approximately 5,862,502 SHIB tokens have been transferred to unspendable addresses and removed from the circulating supply.
As a researcher studying the SHIB token, I’ve observed that the two largest burns I’ve come across amounted to 3,285,122 and 1,010,509 SHIB respectively. To put things in perspective, the total number of SHIB burned since inception by both the team and the community is an astonishing 410,726,111,151,270 tokens. The Shiba Inu developers have been actively contributing to this cause, having burned several billion meme coins throughout 2021 and plans to continue doing so at the end of 2023.
