A Shiba Inu team member named Lucie recently shared some significant news in a tweet about the progress of several tokens and decentralized applications (dApps) within the Shiba Inu project. She emphasized the excitement surrounding the upcoming Layer 3 network development.
Lucie provided an in-depth exploration of the Shiba Inu world, spotlighting distinctive features and applications including SHIB, LEASH, BONE, Shiboshis, and ShibtheMV. Anticipation surrounds the upcoming launches of TREAT and SHI tokens.
Lucie highlighted various dApps within the Shiba Inu network, including ShibaHub, ShibaSwap, and Shiba Eternity, all residing on Shibarium. Additionally, she mentioned the collaboration with D3inc to create a SHIB domain name service. A notable development in the Shiba Inu ecosystem is the upcoming introduction of its own Layer 3 solution.

I’ve come across some intriguing news in my ongoing research. Shiba Inu, the popular canine-themed cryptocurrency, is working hand in hand with Zama, an open-source cryptography firm, on their upcoming Layer 3 network. Though this innovative project still lacks a definite name.
Using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) in this network offers a unique advantage: developers can work with data from untrusted domains without decrypting it, thereby maintaining security and privacy. Notably, this technology is anticipated to bring benefits to Shiba Inu and all its associated tokens and initiatives, including Bone, Treat, the Metaverse, and Shibdentity.
Based on a previous declaration made this year, Shiba Inu plans to introduce a novel privacy-centric network on the Shibarium blockchain.
The upcoming Shiba Inu ecosystem token TREAT will power the “new privacy layer,” allowing developers to build a targeted network on top of Shibarium, a Layer-2 network that settles transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. The move is expected to improve on-chain privacy for SHIB token holders while also protecting their personal and transactional data.
