ShibaSwap 1.75 Set To Pave The Way For 2.0
On Monday, April 22nd, SHIBKIND, the Twitter account for Kusama, published a post sharing insights from a conversation on Shiba Inu’s Telegram channel. During this exchange, a community member asked about the launch schedule for an upgraded version of ShibaSwap, their decentralized exchange using the SHIB token. In response, Kusama revealed that ShibaSwap 2.0 is anticipated to debut with numerous enhanced features.
Kusama explained that ShibaSwap 1.75 would come before the release of ShibaSwap 2.0. This sequence of events will help facilitate the launch of ShibaSwap 2.0 on the Shibarium platform. Following the introduction of ShibaSwap 1.0 in 2021, which encountered some inconsistencies, extensive work has been dedicated to creating a more advanced and refined version – ShibaSwap 2.0.
An upgraded version of this product will go beyond ShibaSwap 1.0’s constraints by adopting a more advanced structure. It will transform into a comprehensive cryptocurrency hub where users can monitor market trends, stay informed about the latest news, and access charts and data.
Kusama, the developer behind ShibaInu, hasn’t given an exact date for the release of ShibaSwap versions 1.75 or 2.0. However, they have suggested that it might happen “soon.” Moreover, ShibaInu’s lead developer has announced intentions to collaborate with influential partners to expedite the launch of ShibaSwap 1.75.
Shiba Inu Witnesses Slight Uptick Following Announcement
After Kusama revealed plans for ShibaSwap 2.0, the price of Shiba Inu coin saw a small uptick during the weekend. Reaching a peak of $0.000027 around early hours of April 21, as reported on CoinMarketCap. Furthermore, there was a substantial growth of 22.97% for SHIB over the last week.
The price rise can be explained by the Shiba Inu community’s enthusiasm for the upcoming launch of ShibaSwap 2.0. This new version will follow the release of 1.75. Some members of the community have called for an earlier launch, while others are just thrilled about the upcoming update and its potential effects on the Shiba Inu platform.
