Shiba Inu Leader Mocks Cardano’s Hoskinson Over US Crypto Collaboration

As a seasoned researcher with over two decades of experience in the tech and crypto industry, I find the recent exchange between Shytoshi Kusama and Charles Hoskinson intriguing. While it is essential to foster collaboration within our community, it’s also crucial to maintain transparency and credibility when discussing potential partnerships, especially with government entities.

Shytoshi Kusama, the main developer behind Shiba Inu, playfully teased Charles Hoskinson, creator of Cardano, about rumored connections to the Trump administration regarding cryptocurrency policies. This back-and-forth occurred around X, capturing the spotlight within the digital currency community.

Previously mentioned, Charles Hoskinson has voiced intentions to collaborate with lawmakers to encourage favorable and advantageous regulations in the cryptocurrency sector. He aims to set up a policy division within his company, Input Output Global, whose purpose is to shape the creation of a legal framework that fosters advancements in cryptocurrency technology.

There’s been talk about Charles Hoskinson potentially taking on a significant role as a crypto policy advisor in the Trump administration, given his network of contacts and previous support for individuals close to Trump, like Robert Kennedy Jr.

For the past two days, Hoskinson has held two live broadcasts, during which he outlined his plans and connections for collaborating with the Trump administration on cryptocurrency policy in 2025. Yet, Shytoshi Kusama voiced doubts about these claims on social media, implying that Cardano’s founder may be exaggerating his impact.

Kusama shared a post from well-known YouTuber AltcoinDaily, which said, “Cardano’s Founder will collaborate with the Trump Administration on cryptocurrency policy in 2025.” He responded with disbelief, “Really?!!!!”. In a following post, Kusama clarified, “Ah, I get it now. That’s why he announced it and not the Trump Administration. Laugh out loud.

Seriously?!!!!

Moving forward in my analysis, Kusama amplified his criticism with a direct and unequivocal declaration: “Let me make this clear, loud, and unmistakable. Should I ever collaborate with any global government in any capacity, the relevant authorities will certainly announce it themselves. Sincerely, Shy.

His comments underscored the fact that, at the time of publishing, no formal response from the Trump administration had been given regarding Hoskinson’s assertions. Meanwhile, the main developer of Shiba Inu had not yet received a response from Hoskinson about his criticism.

It’s worth noting that Kusama has been actively advocating for initiatives. On November 5, he unveiled the idea of the Strategic Hub for Innovation in Blockchain (S.H.I.B.) in a blog post from November 2024. This proposal aims to turn an American city into a world leader in blockchain technology and sustainable development. Central elements of this plan involve building advanced infrastructure, providing financial incentives, nurturing talent growth, creating a favorable legal environment, and embracing eco-friendly practices.

Under an estimated budget between $1.3 billion and $2.35 billion, the S.H.I.B. project intends to stimulate considerable economic growth, produce top-tier employment opportunities, and solidify the U.S.’s role as a pioneer in cutting-edge technologies. The blueprint emphasizes the incorporation of renewable energy resources and energy-saving technology to align with our country’s objectives for responsible environmental management. Anticipated results encompass the creation of numerous jobs, the instigation of educational programs, and substantial boosts to both local and national economies.

As a researcher, I observed that despite the far-reaching nature of my proposal, there seemed to be no immediate response from the Trump administration. On November 10th, I took to X and voiced my discontentment: “Hey #SHIBARMY, since this idea appears to have been overlooked (for now) by the U.S., could it potentially be implemented as a physical, revenue-generating location elsewhere in the world? Anyone interested? Perhaps I should reach out to Japan.

In line with Kusama’s initiative, Shiba Inu’s marketing head, Lucie, proposed different venues in accordance with the SHIBA proposal. Her remark was: “Given the entirety of the SHIBA proposal, my AI recommended engaging these states.” She mentioned Switzerland, Singapore, Estonia, UAE (Dubai), and Malta, among others.

At press time, Shiba Inu traded at $0.00002589.
