In the upcoming years, 2024-2025, several anticipated advancements for Shibarium include: an upgrade to ShibaSwap (from version 1.75 to 2.0), the launch of Shibahub and Treat, the introduction of ShibaEternity Play-to-Earn, the development of the Shiba Inu metaverse, K9finance, Liquid Staking, and testing on a layer-3 network. Additionally, all tokens within the Shiba ecosystem will have fully operational Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) available.

In the near future, the new TREAT token will be utilized to operate Shiba Inu’s blockchain, boasting advanced encryption technology known as fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), which was jointly developed with Zama. Exciting news for the Shiba Inu community: they recently announced that they have secured a substantial $12 million investment from prominent venture capitalists.
In simple terms, this financing stage is believed to strengthen Shibarium’s status as the hub for meme culture in the cryptocurrency sector and take the functionality of its ecosystem to greater lengths.
