Shocking Claims: Ben Pasternak’s Token Sales Scandal Unveiled!

Well, well, well, if it isn’t Ben Pasternak, the founder of Believe-no, not that Believe; we’re talking about the memecoin launchpad that sounds like something your grandma would crochet. It appears he’s under fire for alleged unauthorized token sales linked to a little AI data company called Kled, according to none other than Kled’s CEO, Avi Pastel. And you thought your Monday was rough! 😱

  • So, here’s the scoop: Pasternak is accused of selling tokens on the open market-an absolute no-no, apparently-after promising not to. Who knew crypto had rules? 🤔
  • Pastel claims that our friend Ben sold these tokens to a third party, causing quite the ruckus in the market, which must be a fun place to be right now. He also apparently played a fast one with sales timing and pricing, leaving Kled scrambling to buy back his tokens more times than a cat has lives.
  • And where’s Ben in all this drama? MIA. His social media has been quieter than a library during finals week since October 20.

Now, let’s talk about Kled, the company that compensates users for their personal data by making them label photos and essays. Sounds like a delightful way to spend your weekend, right? They then sell this goldmine of information to AI companies, who presumably use it to train software to do… well, something advanced that we don’t understand. 🤖

According to Pastel, Pasternak had promised not to sell tokens on the open market. Instead, he was supposed to pursue over-the-counter sales or burn supply if things got sticky. But lo and behold, just one day after Kled launched its mobile app on September 24, guess what Ben did? That’s right! He transferred most of his tokens via OTC to some mysterious third party, who immediately began selling them. What a plot twist! 🎢

“We were forced into damage control,” Pastel lamented on X (formerly known as Twitter, because why not?). “We were scrambling to coordinate OTC solutions to prevent further market harm.” I can only imagine the chaos-like trying to herd cats while juggling flaming torches. 🐱🔥

A Message Regarding Ben Pasternak

I didn’t want to make this post. The only thing I wanted was to never think about or speak about this person ever again.

But for the last 7 days straight, Ben Pasternak has been market selling millions of $KLED tokens via DCA (every second of…

Pasternak claims this whole debacle was due to “taxes.” Right! Because nothing screams tax compliance like a shady token sale. Pastel, however, says this explanation doesn’t quite cut it and that Pasternak has kept the identity of his third-party accomplice under wraps, likely hiding behind a mountain of memes. 🕵️‍♂️

Pastel alleges that Ben reneged on pricing agreements not once, not twice, but four times, which must be some sort of record in the world of crypto drama. After some back-and-forth, Kled managed to buy back his tokens, reducing his holdings from a whopping 6% down to a measly 3.5%. Talk about a haircut! 💇‍♂️

Then, just when everyone thought it was safe to go back in the water, Pasternak announced he wouldn’t sell any more tokens, only to start up again a week later. This guy really knows how to keep people on their toes! “Once again, our whales had to scramble…” Pastel stated, which sounds like a peculiar form of exercise. 🐋🏃‍♂️

As of now, Pasternak has decided to remain silent on the allegations, probably sipping a piña colada somewhere, while his activity on X has flatlined since October 20. Last month, he announced an AI startup on LinkedIn, but has since disappeared faster than my motivation to work out after the holidays. 🎉

Meanwhile, Believe continues to operate as a service, allowing users to create tokens by tagging the app’s LaunchCoin account. Pasternak, of course, received a share of the token allocations because, naturally, why wouldn’t the founder get a slice of the pie?

In July, Kled officially separated from Believe and now keeps all the fees. Life’s a feast, and it seems like some are getting their fill while others are left with crumbs!
