After you arrest Olda, Hashek will then kill him and leave him to burn after setting the fortress on fire. If you choose to let Olda escape after confronting him, Hashek will turn against you before triggering a similar outcome to the above.

As a cunning gamer, I can assure you that fibbing to von Bergow about the events at the fortress won’t require any truth-o-meter checks. However, be warned, if you decide to side with the Semines, exposing the truth about Hashek’s demise will lead to Henry being sentenced to the gallows. This choice will unveil a secret ending where our hero faces execution. The grim spectacle of his hanging will then transition smoothly into a familiar game-over screen.

What happens if don’t tell von Bergow

Instead of informing von Bergow about Young Semine, choosing not to do so will bypass the second part of the Necessary Evil mission entirely. Immediately after this, the lord will commence plans for an assault on Nebakov Fortress. This action would then trigger the start of the For Victory main quest.
