Shytoshi Kusama Breaks Silence on Crucial Role of LEASH Holders in Upcoming DAO

As a seasoned researcher with a keen interest in blockchain technology and decentralized systems, I find the recent developments within the Shiba Inu ecosystem particularly intriguing. The impending launch of their Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is a significant step towards achieving true decentralization, which has been a long-standing goal for many in the crypto community, myself included.

Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic head of the Shiba Inu development group, utilized his social media platform X to share a crucial update regarding the part LEASH token owners will play within the upcoming decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that the team is set to launch.

Shytoshi underscored the vital role that holders of LEASH tokens are going to play in it.

Shytoshi’s message on LEASH owners’ big role in future DAO

In the upcoming DAO, individuals who hold LEASH will have the responsibility to maintain order, safeguard the system, and also have the right to cast votes in resolving disputes, as explained by Shytoshi Kusama. He emphasized to the community that there are other significant “internal regulations” within the SHIB State, which function to ensure the well-being of its citizens, much like the DAO does. In essence, LEASH holders will serve as a group of moderators who uphold order, preserve the system, and have the authority to vote on disagreements.

The leader of SHIB expressed optimism that following his clarification, the SHIB Document should become understandable if it wasn’t previously.

Leash holders function as a group of governors who maintain order, safeguard the system, and have the authority to decide on disputes within the Leash Decentralized Autonomous Organization (Dao). The Shibizens are protected by factors such as reputation, karma, and special protocols. Is the Shiba Inu Whitepaper becoming clearer now?

On Twitter last Sunday, a top member of the SHIB team going by the name Lucie shared their intention to launch the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) soon. Lucie emphasized that this development will enhance the decentralization of the Shiba Inu ecosystem as it enables every token holder within the system to have a say in decision-making processes through voting.

Lucie reacts to Pavel Durov’s detention

In a recent blog post, Lucie emphasized that the imminent release of the DAO will serve as a strong statement towards realizing a decentralized Internet and upholding free speech. This comes in response to the detention of Pavel Durov, Telegram and TON‘s founder, who was arrested in France over the weekend due to his company’s resistance to collaborate with French law enforcement on censorship measures aimed at preventing illegal activities.

In simpler terms, we’re experiencing yet another round of government restrictions, focusing on cryptocurrencies and freedom of speech. Here’s what this could mean for SHIB (as highlighted by Pavel Durov on Ton, a Telegram channel). Keep in mind…— 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐄 (@LucieSHIB) August 25, 2024

As a researcher, I can express it like this: Through the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), I’m excited to note that each member of the SHIB community will have the power to influence SHIB’s future growth. We’ll be able to cast our SHIB tokens in votes on matters concerning charity, donations, and upholding the SHIB community’s values. BONE tokens will grant us a voice in shaping the development of the SHIB ecosystem, as well as that of the Education and Research Council. LEASH tokens will enable us to vote on issues related to maintaining fairness and transparency within our community.
