The player was shocked, explaining that everyone was fine one moment and collapsing the next due to the heat. While Sims can die in many ways, extreme temperatures – both hot and cold – can be fatal. Sims don’t die instantly from heatstroke, but players need to make sure their Sims are also fed to help them recover.

Many Sims 4 players were just as shocked by this event, but they also found humor in the bizarre situation. One player, Low-Somewhere-284, shared that their pregnant Sim had divorced her husband the night before the baby shower because he was unfaithful. To make things even stranger, the father then died of heatstroke at the party itself! Thankfully, their Sim did eventually give birth to twins.
