The price of Solana (SOL) has risen by 2.08% since yesterday.
On the hourly chart, the price of SOL is approaching the resistance point of $159.33. Should the closing price reach this level, there could be sufficient pressure for a price surge toward the $160 area and beyond.
In the longer term perspective, paying attention to the daily closing price reaching the $156 mark is crucial for traders. If this level is surpassed without a significant downward wick, the price trend may progress towards the $160-$165 range.
Such a scenario is relevant until the end of the week.
Based on the midpoint of the current market situation, it’s premature to make definite predictions about significant price movements since only a few days remain before the candlestick closes. Yet, if the price manages to surpass the previous peak ($156), buyers could potentially take control and push the price up towards the $170 resistance level.
SOL is trading at $157.24 at press time.
