SOL’s Rollercoaster Ride: Will It Hit $102 or Crash to $66?

Solana decided to stop tripping over its own blockchain and bounced back from $77. Now it’s hovering above $80 like a boss, but can it keep its cool? Spoiler: Bears are still side-eyeing it.

  • SOL price finally remembered it’s not a meme coin and rallied above $80 and $82. Go, little blockchain, go!
  • It’s now chilling above $80 and the 100-hourly simple moving average, which is basically its safety blanket.
  • Oh, and it broke a bearish trend line at $80 on the hourly chart. Kraken says so, so it must be true.
  • If it clears $82.80 and $85, it might throw a party. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Solana’s Comeback Tour: Now Playing Above $80

Solana took a page from Bitcoin and Ethereum’s playbook and started a recovery from $77. It even flexed by climbing above $80. Impressive, but let’s see if it lasts longer than my New Year’s resolution.

It also crossed the 50% Fib retracement level (fancy math stuff) and broke that pesky bearish trend line at $80. But here’s the kicker: bears are lurking around $82.80 like they own the place.

Currently, SOL is trading above $80 and the 100-hourly SMA, which is basically its emotional support animal. Resistance is at $82.80 (or the 61.8% Fib level, if you’re into that sort of thing).

Next stop: $85. After that, $88 is the big boss level. If it clears that, $95 and $102 are on the menu. But let’s not forget, this is crypto-expect the unexpected.

Or Will SOL Faceplant Again?

If $82.80 proves to be its kryptonite, SOL might take another nosedive. First stop: $80. Then, $77. Break below that, and it’s hello $75. And if $75 doesn’t hold? Well, $66 is waiting with open arms.
