The third expedition for ARC Raiders officially ended on Monday, May 11th. Players who completed the recent damage challenge should have received bonus Skill Points for their Raiders. However, many players starting new characters have noticed these Skill Points are missing. Embark is aware of the problem and is currently looking into it.
Okay, so a lot of games make you start over regularly, like every month or so, but the new game, ARC Raiders, is doing things a bit differently. Instead of forcing everyone to reset, they’ve got this ‘Expedition’ system where I can choose to wipe my progress if I want, and I actually get rewards for it! Basically, I need to build this ‘Expedition Caravan’ – it’s how my character gets out of the starting area. It takes a ton of resources, but once it’s built, I can join the Expedition and start fresh, with some cool perks to help me out.
Embark Responds to Missing Skill Points After Latest ARC Raiders Expedition
The recent third Expedition for ARC Raiders has ended, meaning players who didn’t participate will have to wait about two months for the next chance to reset their progress. However, players who did complete the Expedition are reporting a problem: they aren’t receiving the Skill Points they earned. While some players received all five Skill Points as expected, others are missing them entirely. Embark, the game’s developer, has acknowledged the issue on the official ARC Raiders Discord, stating that they are actively investigating and will share updates as soon as they have more information.

If you noticed some missing Skill Points, don’t worry! They should be automatically added back within the next few hours or days. Embark is aware of the issue and is working on it. It seems to be related to a recent change in how Skill Points are earned in ARC Raiders. Originally, players had to collect a certain amount of in-game currency (5 million, then 3 million) during Expeditions to earn extra Skill Points. However, for the latest Expedition, they switched things up and required players to deal 100,000 damage between April 28th and May 11th to get all five Skill Points.
The ARC Raiders community reacted negatively to a recent challenge due to the limited time initially allowed to complete it. Players were also frustrated that the change was announced only a few days before the challenge began, as many felt they couldn’t realistically deal 100,000 damage in such a short timeframe. Embark Studios responded by extending the challenge window to almost two weeks, providing ample time for players to earn all available Skill Points for Expedition 3.

With the latest reset, ARC Raiders has now been refreshed three times since its October 2025 launch. The next in-game event, called an Expedition, is planned for about 60 days from now, but the long-term future of the game is still uncertain. Earlier this year, Embark Studios announced plans for four major content updates between January and April, and with the recent release of ‘Riven Tides,’ that plan is now complete. However, Embark has committed to supporting ARC Raiders for the next decade, so we can likely expect a new content roadmap for the remainder of 2026 to be revealed soon.
