Starfield: Where To Find The Alchiba System

As a seasoned spacefarer with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the allure of unexplored galaxies never fails to captivate me. The latest addition to my interstellar journey is none other than Bethesda’s upcoming masterpiece, Starfield.

In the expansive universe of Starfield, there are numerous star systems open for exploration by players. Remarkably, several of these star systems aren’t linked to significant quests, making them a bit off the beaten path. However, these isolated star systems house some exceptionally unique planets that are definitely worth checking out, as well as planets suitable for mining and surveying.

In different sessions of the game, you might encounter Starborn Temples scattered across the galaxy at random locations. As you progress through the main story or start fresh playthroughs, you’ll gradually uncover the entire cosmos. One system that may require a bit more effort to locate is Alchiba, which is not easily accessible compared to other systems; here’s how to find it.

Where To Find The Alchiba System In Starfield

To reach Alchiba, you’ll
need a Grav Drive
that can at least make 16 LY jumps.

By examining the galaxy chart, the Alchiba system is located approximately near the lower center, being the most distant system from others in this region. To get there, begin at the Alpha Centauri system and travel to Olympus, then Volii, both slightly below and to the left of Alpha Centauri. From Volii, move to Bolivar, which is to the right just before you reach the bottom section of the galaxy map; the Alchiba system should be found there. For better visibility, zoom out as much as possible on the chart to ensure an easy find.

What Is In The Alchiba System

  • Recommended Level 50
  • Not controlled by any major faction.
  • 10 Planets
  • 18 Moons

In summary, the Alchiba system lies on the edge of the galaxy with minimal interaction from other inhabitants, save for occasional random encounters. The majority of its planets and all moons are mineable, offering a diverse range of resources suitable for establishing an outpost if mining is preferred. Additionally, surveying 28 planets or moons can be accomplished in a single star system, providing ample opportunities to earn substantial credits.

Based on your journey, there’s a chance that Alchiba IV could feature a Starborn Temple which might appear at random. However, Vladamir will inform you if such a temple exists during your progression through the main story. Alchiba IV is a planet worth exploring because its desert region has black sand, a scarcity across the galaxy. This planet also offers a relatively secure location for an outpost, making it an ideal choice if you’re seeking an outpost on one of the more distinctive planets in Starfield.
