As a seasoned crypto investor with battle scars from numerous market fluctuations and scams, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and skepticism upon reading about Shibarium’s upcoming “strategic upgrade” for Shiboshi NFT holders. Having been burned by my fair share of promises that never materialized, I find myself treading cautiously, yet intrigued by the potential benefits this update could bring.
Recently, the anonymous marketing head of Shiba Inu, known as Lucie, revealed on a tweet that significant improvements for Shibarium NFT owners are imminent. Consequently, these NFT holders can expect expanded possibilities when utilizing their Shiboshi tokens.
“Shiboshis strategic upgrade”
Lucie disclosed information about a planned “strategic improvement” for owners of Shiboshi Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which she referred to as Shiboshis. The marketing lead hinted that significant developments are coming for Shiboshis on the Shibarium platform, suggesting “major advancements are imminent for Shiboshis on Shibarium.” More specifically, these improvements will bring about “novel chances” and “exciting methods of interaction.
In her tweet, Lucie highlighted that among the upcoming possibilities, there will be an improvement in the functionality of Shiboshis – these NFTs will receive “new capabilities and positions,” thereby increasing their worth and methods for engagement within the ecosystem. She also hinted at “special events and incentives.” These planned events aim to provide “opportunities for Shiboshi owners to earn and interact within the community.

The third point indicates that Shiboshis are expected to play an active role in the growth of the SHIB universe, offering opportunities for distinctive experiences and possible advantages.
Lucie summarized that “the whole thing is about being strategic.”
Lucie’s scam warning: “Stay sharp”
On Sunday, an executive from the Shiba Inu team named Lucie posted a warning to the Shiba Inu community, encouraging them to remain vigilant as numerous scammers have been active recently within the cryptocurrency sector.
She reminded the SHIB army that “scammers have no shame, no limits, and no boundaries” since they have “decided to deceive others for their own gain.”
In my recent post about scam alerts, I shared insights on how scammers manipulate their targets. Essentially, they employ a strategy that begins by projecting an optimistic demeanor, feigning to be ardent believers. Their intention is to instill a sense of hope in their prospective victims, much like a contagion.
One alternative expression is “manipulative tactics,” where fraudsters may share distressing tales about personal misfortunes such as sudden illnesses, accidents, or other difficult circumstances. They might also establish fake charitable organizations and employ artificial intelligence (AI) to produce or modify pictures. According to Lucie, the only reliable method to distinguish between genuine projects/charities and scams is to not automatically trust anything online without verifying its authenticity first.
