And just in case you were wondering, Strategy’s average execution price is $67,700 per Bitcoin, which is a steal-unless, of course, you’re the one buying it. The company has now amassed a jaw-dropping 720,737 BTC, costing them a mere $54.77 billion. Simple math, right? That’s only about $75,985 per coin on average. Not too shabby, considering you’re dealing with the volatile world of crypto.
But wait, there’s more! To fund this extravagant acquisition spree, Strategy didn’t just raid their couch cushions; no, they tapped into their at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? In fact, they raised a cool $237.1 million by issuing new equity. How did they do it? Simple-by selling 1,730,563 shares of their Class A Common Stock (MSTR), pocketing a neat $229.9 million.
