Terra Luna Classic Community Votes on Reactivating IBC, LUNC Price to Rally?

As a researcher with experience in the Terra Luna Classic ecosystem, I find the ongoing proposal to reactivate the Interblockchain Communication (IBC) between Terra Luna Classic and Osmosis an intriguing development. The initiative, led by former core developer Fragwuerdig, is gaining significant traction in the community with over 96% approval until now.

The Terra Luna Classic community is considering another significant proposal to facilitate communication between different blockchains (Interblockchain Communication or IBC) with the Osmosis protocol. If this proposition is adopted, transactions between Terra Luna Classic and Osmosis will be reinstated using Client ID 07-tendermint-12 on the columbus-5 chain, referencing the expired validator set of Osmosis.

Terra Luna Classic Osmosis IBC Reactivation Proposal

Proposal 12104, put forth by Fragwuerdig – a former member of our core developer team, is currently under consideration in the Station wallet. This proposal intends to reactivate the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) connection between Osmosis and Terra Luna Classic. Essentially, we’re voting on reviving the integration that allows seamless interaction between these two platforms.

Terra Classic insider Vegas, who is both a member and validator, has disclosed that the Osmosis Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) client requires an update for smoother functioning of the IBC relay. This upgrade will enable hassle-free transfers between LUNC and Osmosis. Vegas proposes advancing from version 07-tendermint-12 to 07-tendermint-250 as a solution.

As a researcher involved in the maintenance and improvement of our system, I recommend upgrading from version 07-tendermint-12 to 07-tendermint-250. This upgrade is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) within our infrastructure.

Up until May 25th, the proposition has garnered over 96% approving votes. However, it’s important to note that there were also 3% of “No with veto” votes cast. Seven validators, including LuncGoblins, Moon Rabbit Validator, and MoonRunners among them, have expressed their belief that the proposition should be passed, having voted “Yes.”

LUNC and USTC Trading Range Bound

As a researcher studying the cryptocurrency market, I’ve noticed that there’s growing anticipation within the community regarding the price of LUNC reaching beyond $0.0002. This optimism is fueled by recent development activity and the implementation of staking. However, I’ve observed that the LUNC price has been trading sideways following a 3% increase this week. The lowest point in the last 24 hours was at $0.0001072, while the highest was recorded at $0.0001106. Additionally, there’s been a slight decrease in trading volume over the past day.

The price of USTC surged by 30% within a month, yet there’s been a significant drop in trading activity over the past few days, particularly this week. Currently, the token is priced at $0.02233, with its lowest and highest points in the last 24 hours being $0.02200 and $0.02314 respectively. The volume of trades has picked up slightly compared to yesterday, suggesting renewed curiosity among investors.
