GGMods is a newer website quickly becoming a source for interesting and unique game modifications. It not only provides modders with a place to share their creations, but also allows them to earn money from their work – something many modders have wanted for a long time, going back to the early days of game modification with titles like Doom and classic NES games.
As a fan, I think a lot of modders are hoping to either turn their hobby into a full game, or even get a job at a big game studio – and honestly, some really talented people have been discovered that way! That’s why it’s so smart to share your mods everywhere you can – getting your name out there is key. Right now, the GGMods site doesn’t have a ton of games or mods available yet, but they’re growing, and I’m excited to see what comes next. It doesn’t change anything else in New Vegas, and constantly hearing the laughter after failures could be frustrating. However, it might be amusing to watch someone else play Fallout: New Vegas with this mod installed.

This Fallout: New Vegas mod completely changes how you move. Instead of walking, you’ll be jumping everywhere! The height and distance of your jumps depend on how long you press the jump button, and you even get rewards for jumping a lot – every 1,000 jumps, in fact.
Trying this repeatedly can give you stat boosts, but they stop increasing after ten attempts. It definitely adds to the game’s difficulty, though it’s amusing to attempt. It feels a bit like a Mario modification unexpectedly appearing in Fallout – that might have actually improved the mod, but it’s worth trying out regardless.

Become A Worm Person

There are some fun mods available for Fallout 4 on GGMods, and this one is particularly strange. Created by SpiffBy Spifferinoerino, it transforms your character from Vault 111 into a… worm person. While the body remains mostly human from the hands down, the head is completely reshaped to look like a worm.
Although not stated directly, this mod seems to draw inspiration from the Earthworm Jim series. Even though the character’s size isn’t quite right, it would fit well within the Fallout universe to have a mutant like this as a playable character – it is a post-apocalyptic world where anything is possible thanks to radiation.
Hydra Mod For The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

Let’s look at another popular mod for Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Created by Skinwalker21, this mod adds weapons and dinosaurs to the game. While creatures are often added through mods, this Hydra stands out. It’s incredibly large – bigger than even a woolly mammoth or a giant!
Adding a Hydra feels a little strange because of its large size, and it doesn’t quite match the dragons already present in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. While Hydras don’t naturally belong in the world of Tamriel, this mod is still really awesome.

Jeff was a relatively new character in the Marvel universe, first appearing in 2018 as Gwen Poole’s pet and later becoming more developed. While his comic book powers focused on his bite and unusual legs, the game version of Jeff has abilities that include both healing and attacks, and he can even grow larger.
A new mod created by yakuzadeso gives the character Jeff a skin inspired by Pochita, a popular character from the manga Chainsaw Man. Pochita was originally the main character’s pet and later merged with him, giving him the powers of Chainsaw Man. This skin is a particularly good fit for Jeff in the game Marvel Rivals.

There’s no need to limit language in this game, especially given its mature rating. Censoring it feels similar to devices like the ClearPlay DVD player from the early 2000s, which removed objectionable content. A mod that offers cleaner dialogue is perfectly fine, and CCLordShen’s work, which appears well-made, is available online for those interested.
