Coinbase International made an announcement that they will be adding BOOK OF MEME (BOME) perpetual futures contracts to their platform.

The initiative intends to establish a comprehensive environment focusing on meme culture. This includes the development of a meme amplifier – a decentralized social media application, and a vast collection of copyright-free memes housed in a library.
The value of BOME‘s token skyrocketed significantly after its debut, sparked by enthusiastic buying from speculators. As per CoinGecko’s latest figures, the meme coin, which operates on the Solana blockchain, holds a market capitalization of approximately $719 million, positioning it among the top 10 largest meme coins in terms of market value.
In conjunction with Bitcoin-linked DOG, BOME is currently the leading meme coin among the majors that has managed to stay in the green following Coinbase’s recent announcement. The correction in the broader market has resulted in significant losses for other popular meme coins such as Brett (BRETT) and Bonk (BONK), which have seen approximately 10% decline over the past day.
Apart from BOME, the exchange will also list perpetual futures for Notcoin (NOT).
According to U.Today’s report, Coinbase Pro, the international version of Coinbase’s exchange, initiated the listing of Dogecoin Wireless Information Flow (WIF) perpetual futures contracts around April.
