Top 6 Hardest Skills to Level in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Summary

  • Construction requires tons of materials to level up, making it difficult to create super-structures for Exp.
  • Attack skill can only be raised through melee combat, exposing players to dangerous creatures in Ashenfall.
  • Runecrafting’s heavy materials and encumbrance create challenges in leveling up this skill, requiring loads of experience.

To excel and advance effectively in the game “RuneScape: Dragonwilds“, it’s crucial to hone your abilities. Players must devote significant time to farming, battling, and crafting tasks to climb up the hierarchy. Failure to do so may lead to being overpowered by goblins, garous, demons, or dragons.

As a seasoned gamer, let me tell you about some skills in this game that are a real challenge to upgrade. Whether it’s the high cost of leveling them or the immense time and dedication required, these abilities will undoubtedly give players a mind-bending workout before they reach their full potential!

1. Construction

Players Will Have To Farm Thousands Of Mats To Level It Up

  • It requires tons of materials.
  • Limited building locations make it tough to create super-structures to grind Exp.

To start things off, I’m all about Mastering Construction. This talent grants me access to some game-changing Spells like Summon Shelter and Personal Chest. With these spells, I can continue my gaming journey without having to constantly return to base to drop off my loot or take a breather. It’s a lifesaver!

To access both of them (particularly the Personal Chest, given it’s earned at Level 40), players must elevate their Construction skills significantly. This is no small feat and requires a substantial investment of time. Activities like farming, grinding, and constructing structures across the world will consume many hours to achieve a satisfactory level. Additionally, figuring out where and how to build these structures can be challenging due to the persistent attacks from enemies and the roaming dragon in the area.

2. Attack

The Only Way To Raise It Is Melee Combat

  • It requires engaging in direct combat, which has a high risk of resulting in death.
  • No other way to level it up but fighting and killing enemies.

As a gamer in Ashenfall, I initially find delight in leveling up my attack capabilities. However, as the demands for experience points escalate to reach higher levels, I’m often thrown headfirst into intense close-quarter battles with some of the game’s deadliest creatures. Foes like the powerful Garou Thanes, who can obliterate a fully armored player with a single strike, or the cunning Abyssal Demon, equipped with a host of challenging abilities such as binding and teleporting, make every encounter a high-stakes test of my skills.

It’s no exaggeration that improving Attack can be quite challenging, and players may soon find themselves under increasing strain to enhance their stamina-based perks, given the escalating intensity of battles as the game unfolds. Mastering the art of timing attacks, parrying, and dodging effectively only serves to make this skill even more demanding.

3. Runecrafting

Players Will Be Overencumbered All The Time When Leveling It

  • Materials are absurdly heavy.
  • Crafting thousands of runes barely scratches the required Exp to reach mid-tier.

In the game, mastering Runecrafting provides some of the game’s strongest abilities, some of which are crucial for exploration (such as Windstep). Consequently, improving this skill is essential. However, the challenge comes from the hefty weight of Runic Essence, a material required for crafting runes and leveling this skill: It’s quite heavy.

Once players accumulate sufficient resources within their bases to engage in prolonged Runecrafting activities, and amass a great deal of experience, they will find themselves laden with one of the game’s densest materials. Being constantly burdened is far from amusing, making it challenging to maximize Runecrafting, particularly from level 30 onwards due to its heavy requirements for experience.

4. Artisan

Same As Construction, But With Crafting Goods

  • Tons of materials wasted on grinding exp.
  • Farming the mats to craft can be a pain.

In the game RuneScape: Dragonwilds, players aim to advance their Artisan Skill by producing numerous high-quality items, but it’s important to note that the resources needed aren’t automatically gathered. This presents a challenge similar to Construction.

To fully master the Artisan skill line and gain access to its most powerful spells and effects, players must amass a vast quantity of resources and dedicate significant time to crafting.

5. Woodcutting

Chop, Chop, Chop, And Never Cease Chopping

  • Less uncomfortable than other skills thanks to its useful spells.
  • Still, it requires hours of dedication.

Without Axtral Projection and Splinter, leveling up Woodcutting would be extremely difficult. These spells, which become available relatively early on, significantly aid in the process of woodcutting, where players must chop not just the tree trunk but also the stump, logs into smaller pieces, and then those logs into even smaller parts.

Moving forward from level 27, things become quite challenging due to the limited experience offered by Ash wood. This issue arises because the Bone Axe required for Oak trees is not obtainable with just Ash wood, which in turn hinders player progression and levels. Although the game is currently in Early Access, it’s possible that developers will introduce alternative methods for Woodcutting leveling without making players obsess over chopping wood excessively.

6. Cooking

Players Will Have To Farm Hundreds Of Ingredients To Max It Out

  • Getting the right amount of materials to grind exp will be tough.
  • Reaching max level requires crafting the most expensive recipes.

As you progress further in the game, cooking may seem deceptively straightforward, but it grows increasingly intricate. With numerous dishes available to master, each requires significant resources, which can be found only through harvesting plants or hunting animals – a task that often involves extensive exploration and resource gathering.

In the game RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Cooking might not appear higher on the list of challenging skills to advance due to the presence of numerous locations for gathering Raw Bird Meat, Potatoes, and Water. These resources are beneficial for amassing a large amount of experience points. However, it’s important to remember that achieving mastery in this skill will require some patience, as it takes time before players can fully maximize their Cooking level.
