This exciting adventure not only lets you meet Aladdin and Jasmine but also presents a series of challenges, such as maneuvering through Dust Devils and navigating rooftops, among other obstacles.

After finding yourself interested in embarking on ‘The Ancient Revealed’ mission within Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may be eager to discover the steps to initiate it and conquer its challenges that call for thinking just as cunningly as Aladdin does while navigating the streets of Agrabah.

How To Start The Ancient Revealed Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley And Enter The Aladdin Realm

To initiate the “The Ancient Revealed” quest within Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need a minimum of 15,000 Dreamlight. This amount will allow you to unlock the entrance to Aladdin’s realm, which is located at the top of the stairs in the Dreamlight Castle. Using your 15,000 Dreamlight to open this realm sets off the “The Ancient Revealed” quest.

The Ancient Revealed Quest Walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To start in ‘The Ancient Revealed’, you should first gain entry into what’s known as the ‘Aladdin Realm’. In the city of Agrabah, an enigmatic, potent storm takes over, with Dust Devils patrolling the bazaar and Princess Jasmine positioned near the tempest. Before you can access Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Magic Carpet, there are a few tasks to accomplish first. Upon entering the bustling market, you’ll notice that your path is barricaded by peculiar orange rocks. To bypass these obstacles, use the rooftops as shortcuts, mirroring the way Aladdin would navigate to find Jasmine.

Find A Way Across The Rooftops Using The Environment

To get to Jasmine, you’ll want to navigate the rooftops by employing some wooden planks as stepping stones. Look for a wooden platform painted in a striking blue-green hue on the left side and interact with the top plank to cause it to tip over, providing a passageway for you to cross. Use your Royal Pickaxe to break down the wooden structure that lies ahead, creating a slide you can descend. The note warns that the sandstorms have made this structure vulnerable, so just one strike with your Pickaxe should be enough.

Move on and engage with the following platform to get to the rooftop up ahead. Advance across the rooftop and strike the subsequent wooden object at the end of the trail with your pickaxe to access the market beneath.

Go Through The Back Alleys And Evade The Dust Devils To Reach Jasmine

In the subsequent phase of ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest, you’ll encounter some challenging ‘Dust Devils’. Navigate through the byways up ahead while skillfully avoiding the trio of these whirlwinds that block your path.

Keep moving forward, then turn left at the narrow lanes behind, and eventually, use your pickaxe on the barricaded wooden door to break it open. This action will reveal a courtyard where Jasmine can be found close to the windstorm on the left side. Approach her for a conversation, and she’ll share valuable information about the current situation and guide you toward finding Aladdin.

Use The Planks To Reach The Rooftops Leading To The Artisan’s District

Following a conversation with Jasmine, make your way towards the Artisan’s District entrance. To access the rooftops and proceed further into the district, you will require three additional wooden boards. These wooden boards can be located as follows:

1. The first one is near a group of artisans working on their latest creations.
2. The second one is hidden behind a large, colorful mural depicting the district’s history.
3. Lastly, the third one is leaning against a stall selling exotic spices and trinkets.

  • Propped up against the wall near Jasmine.
  • Buried in the ground near the storm — you’ll need to use your Royal Shovel to unearth it.
  • Up the steps on the right by the wall near another Dust Devil.

After collecting all three planks, arrange them on the wooden platform close to Jasmine. Interact with the next plank as you did earlier to ascend to a rooftop, leading you to the Artisan District situated to your left and a green chest waiting to be opened directly ahead. Employ your Pickaxe on the structure to the left to explore the Artisan District below.

As you venture through the area, you might come across various Agrabah Marketplace Diary entries scattered around. Keep an eye out for a total of 10 such diary notes hidden here and there.

Get Artisan Alloy Ingot From Market Chests And Craft The Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe Upgrade

After entering the Artisan District, chat with Jasmine once more. From here, your goal is to locate three Market Chests to obtain three Artisan Alloy Ingot pieces. These are essential for crafting the Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe Upgrade, a necessity for ‘The Ancient Revealed’ quest continuation and breaking Sandstone Rocks. Additionally, you’ll gather more planks along the way to reach these chests, which can be found within and around the Artisan District. Here are the locations of the three Market Chests:

  • In the Artisan’s Market opposite the crafting table.
  • On the right side of the Artisan Market rooftop, accessible via another wooden plank to make a bridge. There is also another wooden plank to pick up near the chest and another plank by the wall near the rooftop edge nearby.
  • At the bottom of the steps on the Artisan Market rooftop, just past where you found the previous Market Chest — move the large barrel on the rooftop, break the nearby Sandstone Rocks, and use three wooden planks to reach it.

After gathering all three Alloy pieces, head over to the Crafting Table located in the Artisan District near Jasmine. There, you can create a new kind of Royal Pickaxe upgrade that lets you mine the Sandstone Rock Deposits scattered around Agrabah.

Break The Sandstone Rocks To Help Jasmine Leave The Market And Find Aladdin

To proceed, here’s what you should do:

1. Access the Artisan’s Alloy Pickaxe in your inventory and activate it.
2. Utilize the upgraded Pickaxe to break the Sandstone Rocks that are situated behind Jasmine.
3. After breaking all the rocks, move towards the South Alley and communicate with Jasmine once more. You will learn that Aladdin is trapped there.
