As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation at the latest announcements from NVIDIA. The upcoming support for ray-tracing effects, DLSS 3, and RTX HDR multi-monitor in some highly anticipated games like Until Dawn, Throne and Liberty, Starship Troopers: Extermination, The Axis Unseen, and MechWarrior 5: Clans is music to my ears.
NVIDIA unveiled that five new games will debut with RTX technology from the start, and the main attraction is the 2024 remake of “Until Dawn”.
The GPU manufacturer announces that the game “Until Dawn” provides PC gamers with a chance to boost realism through ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion effects, and if played on a GeForce RTX 40 Series PC, it allows for the activation of DLSS Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution. These features are designed to speed up the game’s performance and make gameplay smoother when “Until Dawn” launches on October 4th.
The game titled “Throne and Liberty” developed by NCSOFT has been released, and it’s worth noting that it debuted along with DLSS 3 technology. According to NVIDIA, this feature is designed to boost performance by approximately “2.6 times” when playing at a 4K resolution, with all graphics settings set to maximum.
The upcoming game on the list is titled “Starship Troopers: Extermination“, which is a 16-player cooperative first-person shooter developed by Offworld Industries. It will be released on October 11th. NVIDIA has announced that if you own a GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU or laptop, you can enable DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution, features designed to support you in your battle against the Bug threat.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super pumped about the upcoming release of “The Axis Unseen” on October 22nd! This heavy metal horror game from Just Purkey Games promises to be a chilling experience, enhanced by DLSS 3 support. That means Frame Generation and Reflex will be in play, making my gaming sessions even smoother and more immersive! Can’t wait to dive into the darkness!
Next up, we have “MechWarrior 5: Clans”, set to arrive on October 17th. According to NVIDIA, this game will offer immediate compatibility with both NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS 3. It includes DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation technologies.
Additionally, the NVIDIA App has been updated for computers and notebooks, improving the NVIDIA app beta version by incorporating features such as G-SYNC control, driver rollback, and other enhancements.
With the installation of the new GeForce Game Ready Driver, RTX HDR multi-monitor functionality is now available. The NVIDIA app streamlines the process for gamers and content creators to keep their PCs updated with the most recent GeForce Game Ready and NVIDIA Studio drivers. This includes easy access to applications like GeForce NOW and NVIDIA Broadcast, as well as simplifying discovery and installation.
In summary, the latest NVIDIA GeForce Driver now offers RTX HDR support for multiple monitors in its beta update of the NVIDIA app. This means players can gear up for MechWarrior 5: Clans, Starship Troopers: Extermination, and THRONE AND LIBERTY with confidence. You can obtain this new GeForce Game Ready 565.90 WHQL driver via GeForce Experience, the NVIDIA app beta, or directly from GeForce.com.
