Specifically, they have been posing as Shytoshi Kusama, the enigmatic founder of SHIB, and Kaal Dhairya, the top SHIB developer. Deceptive Telegram accounts representing these individuals have been detected, and SHIB team members like Lucie have warned the community about these impostors.
SHIB burn rate soars
Based on information from the Shibburn explorer made accessible to the public, in the past 24 hours, the SHIB community has persistently gotten rid of a significant amount of another large meme coin. They have incinerated approximately 7.13 million Canine Meme Coins, thereby increasing the burn rate by an impressive 207.23%.
When tokens are “buried” or “designated as unspendable,” they are transferred to permanent blockchain addresses where they can no longer be accessed or used, effectively reducing the total number of Shiba Inu coins in circulation. This process aims to increase the coin’s scarcity and potentially lead to higher market demand and prices over time.
