Vitalik Buterin Exits Ethereum Amid Price Pump, Again

As a seasoned analyst with years of experience in the cryptocurrency market, I find myself frequently intrigued by the enigmatic actions of key figures like Vitalik Buterin. The latest transfer of Ethereum from his wallet once again stirs speculation and raises questions about the motives behind such transactions.

As per the latest data from Lookonchain, a wallet connected to Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin has executed another significant Ethereum transaction. This action appears to represent a withdrawal or selling off of Ethereum by the creator of one of the leading altcoins.

1 Hour Ago, Wallet Labeled as “0xD04d” sent over 1,300 Ether (approximate value of around $3.17 million) to Wallet “0x5567”. Right after the transaction, Wallet “0x5567” moved 74.17 Ether ($181,000 worth) into Paxos.

348 days back, a similar transaction occurred where approximately $2.45 million worth of Ethereum (1,000 ETH) was shifted from wallet “0xD04d” to wallet “0x5567”. Subsequently, these Ethereum were deposited into Bitstamp, a well-established cryptocurrency exchange.

Wallet “0xD04d” has a record of receiving significant amounts of Ethereum. According to Lookonchain, approximately 70,000 ETH, equivalent to around $171.5 million, was sent from wallet “Vb 3.” This wallet is speculated to be connected to Vitalik Buterin or people closely linked with him, such as family members or confidants.

What does Buterin do?

The recent transfer follows a trend where wallets linked to Buterin have been offloading tokens, particularly during spikes in ETH‘s value. Previously, such a sale by Buterin sparked debate within the community and raised questions about his rationale for selling Ethereum tokens.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that the Ethereum community finds it noteworthy that Buterin continues with his actions, despite his past posts on social media criticizing altcoins.

It appears that while I’m enthusiastically discussing the potential of Ethereum with one hand, I’m simultaneously selling off millions of dollars worth of it with the other. This dual approach might raise some eyebrows.

But what is the endgame for the renowned crypto visionary?
