Warzone Resurgence “torture” for solo players after Season 5 Reloaded

As a long-time Warzone player, I’ve seen my fair share of updates and changes, but this one has left me feeling rather solo-nome (get it?). The removal of Resurgence Solos has been a tough pill to swallow, especially since Duos and Trios often end up as a team of one for me. I understand the devs want to mix things up, but it feels like they’re sending us on a one-way ticket to frustrationville.

As an avid Warzone player, I’m feeling the heat of frustration right now, given that my favorite solo game mode, Resurgence Solos, has mysteriously vanished from the battlefield. It was always a thrill to prove myself on my own, and its absence is leaving quite a void.

In the beginning of Season 5 Reloaded, the Resurgence game type has been reduced from Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads to only Duos, Trios, and Quads. This high-intensity mode remains popular among Solo players because it offers a quicker entry into combat compared to regular Battle Royale.

People throughout the community have been vocalizing their displeasure about the decision on various social media platforms, with a Reddit post inquiring, “Why on earth was Resurgence Solos taken away?”

They labeled Duos and Trios as “ordeals,” asserting that often their teammates drop out or get eliminated during matches, leaving the lone player at a significant disadvantage when facing well-coordinated teams.

Why tf did they remove resurgence solos?

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but share the confusion that many of us feel about the removal of Resurgence Solos. It seems like a decision that left quite a few players scratching their heads, including myself.

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but suspect that the developers are intentionally removing popular features, knowing fully well that this move would spark a wave of dissatisfaction among the player base. The strategy seems to be that once the feature returns, there will be a surge in players and an uptick in positive sentiment.

Some find this frequent switching between modes perplexing, with one individual even labeling it “Poor judgment,” while others propose that eliminating fill Duos could be a potential solution.

One user suggests turning off “squad fill” while playing duos, as it gives you standard solo rules and 2vs1 situations during resurgence become more manageable. This experience will help improve your gameplay skills.

However, for some, Solos is the only mode they play, and don’t want to face squads on their own. Playlist updates come fairly often, so perhaps Solos will return to Warzone soon.

Users have not been very receptive towards the S5R update, with many criticizing it as the most disappointing update yet, particularly due to the introduction of On-Demand Texture Streaming.
