Web3 Gaming Platform Unioverse Hires Eric Peterson as CCO

As a seasoned gaming industry veteran with decades of experience under my belt, I am thrilled to welcome Eric Peterson on board as the Chief Creative Officer at Unioverse. His impressive resume speaks for itself – from his work on classic titles like Wing Commander, StarLancer, and Conquest: Frontier Wars, to co-founding Digital Anvil and Fever Pitch Studios and collaborating with Chris Roberts on Star Citizen.

In a notable appointment, Eric Peterson, co-founder of the massively successful space simulation game Star Citizen, has been named as the new chief creative officer at Unioverse – the innovative Web3 gaming platform.

Peterson will spearhead the creative direction and game development, with a focus on making Web3 gaming more popular and appealing to conventional video game enthusiasts.

With a rich background in video game development, Peterson contributes significantly to Random Games as the creator of Unioverse. Previously, he was involved in creating hit titles like Wing Commander, StarLancer, and Conquest: Frontier Wars. He also co-founded Digital Anvil and Fever Pitch Studios, where he worked closely with Chris Roberts on the highly anticipated project, Star Citizen.

“I’m thrilled to begin my new journey with Random Games and Unioverse, where I’ll be channeling my creativity into producing top-notch games within the captivating Unioverse setting. Our team is committed to tackling common gamer annoyances by permitting actions that some companies disapprove of, like trading advanced characters or weapons. This issue is resolved through our marketplace for in-game items, empowering players to trade freely and extract greater enjoyment from their cherished games.” – Peterson expressed.

As a crypto investor in Unioverse, I can tell you that my role, as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), involves actively seeking out potential partners for our metaverse project and ensuring the superior quality of the games we release. I will collaborate closely with my esteemed colleagues, including CTO Wyeth Ridgway, Head of Brand Bryan Clark, and CEO Tony Harman, to ensure that Unioverse achieves its objectives and delivers an exceptional gaming experience for our community.

As a game analyst, I would describe it this way: In creating universe games, we prioritize making them approachable for seasoned gamers who may not have extensive knowledge of Web3 technology or cryptocurrencies. These elements are integrated into the games in an intuitive and user-friendly manner, allowing players to enjoy the experience without feeling the need to delve deep into the underlying complexities of blockchain technology.
