Where to Use the Riven Tides Secure Storage Keycard in ARC Raiders

Okay, so I’ve been checking out the new ARC Raiders map, and honestly, the Riven Tides Secure Storage looks like it could be the ultimate loot spot – maybe even the best in the whole game. But let me tell you, getting inside and, more importantly, out of there alive is a serious challenge!

Man, Riven Tides used to be the place to go – picture this: chill vibes, people dancing at the Hotel Panorama Azzurro, everyone enjoying piña coladas on the beach. Now? It’s a total wreck. And seriously, it’s swarming with ARC enemies – more than I’ve seen anywhere else so far. But honestly, the rewards are amazing, so it’s worth pushing through the danger.

This guide will walk you through using the Riven Tides secure storage keycard. I’ll also share the locations where I discovered several weapon cases and how I made it back to Speranza with over 70,000 credits worth of loot, including the brand new Rascal grenade launcher.

I’ve been finding Riven Tides keycards fairly often on the Stella Montis map, especially inside the small, blue briefcases you see around the area.

Where to Use the Riven Tides Secure Storage Keycard

In ARC Raiders, the secure storage room has a unique security feature: it’s hidden inside the classified records room. To open it, you’ll need to have both keys, which are shown in the images above.

The rooms are inside the Port Authority building, a very dangerous area with the stacking yard nearby, plus the main extraction point and a lot of powerful automated defenses like vaporizers and turbines. However, with some clever thinking, it’s possible to overcome these challenges.

Having spent a lot of time up here, I’ve learned a few things. Before you try to open the secure storage room – it’s a risky task – I strongly suggest you do these things:

  • Bring a stack of lure grenades to help distract the ARC.
  • Use an augment with two or more safepocket slots to keep your keys safe.
  • Play Solo (I’ve found solo lobbies feel safer than squads on average).
  • Bring door blockers and traps to deter would-be thieves while you’re looting.

Secure Storage Room Location

Now that you’re prepared, choose the Riven Tides map as shown in the image and go to the surface. Once there, open your map and locate the Port Authority building – it’s marked with an arrow in the picture.

The arrow points directly at the entrance we’ll be using on the East side of the building.

Make Your Way to the Top Floor

Once you locate the Port Authority building (as pictured), there are multiple ways to get inside. However, I recommend climbing the ladder on the building’s east side – it’s the simplest route, and is shown with an arrow in the image.

You’ll find the door you’re looking for at the top of the ladder, as shown in the picture. This is the quickest way to get there.

When you enter, you’ll immediately see several staircases. The rooms you can’t access are located on the upper level, so head up the staircase on the left – it’s marked with an arrow in the image.

Shredders and turrets are often present in this location.

As you reach the top of the stairs, you’ll see two doors. Either door will take you to the records rooms, so you can choose either one.

Unlock the Classified Records Room

Use the Riven Tides Classified Records Keycard to open one of the doors. Once inside, you’ll find several containers and drawers you can open, and maybe even some gun cases. You can’t miss the door to the secure storage room – it’s shown in the picture below.

I searched two rooms and found a bobcat, a torrente, the new Rascal grenade launcher, three arpeggios, and lots of other useful items. It definitely paid off to be well-prepared, and I hope you have even better luck with your raids than I did!
