Whose Leak is This? Anomaly Commission Guide in NTE

Find the track called “Whose Leak is This?” by going to the anomaly commission menu – it’s in the bottom right corner of the map, under the Miguel District section.

Follow the quest marker to the residential building and enter using the double glass doors.

Go to the elevator at the end of the hall and press the button for floors 7 or 9. It’s on the right side of the elevator’s control panel.

When the elevator doors open, walk down the hallway to the end. When you see the message “Repair Switch”, activate the switchboard on the right-hand wall.

Go back to the elevator and press “%2F**” or “*3^F*” on the numbered panel on the right side.

If the elevator doors don’t open when it reaches your floor, get near them and choose the “Force Start” option to open them.

Go down the hallway to the end, and answer the phone when it rings.

Go back to the elevator and press either the “!!8F^v^!!!” or “??10^///F” button. While facing the door, you’ll see an option to “Force Start”. Select it, wait for the elevator to respond, and then select “Force Start” again.

As the elevator goes down to the lower level, stand facing the doors and press the “Force Start” button again to open them. After a moment, a dark, viscous liquid will come out from the back of the elevator and flow through the front doors into the hallway.

Go into the hallway and collect the elevator buttons that have fallen on the floor. Be careful to avoid the black goo while you’re doing so.

Go back to the elevator and turn to the button panel. Press any of the buttons – you’ll see numbers like “11111111,” “100101111,” or “11111.” Don’t worry, all of these buttons take you to the same place.

Quickly and repeatedly press the “Force Start” button on the elevator doors to make them close before the black goo reaches you.

When the elevator doors open, you’ll see a dark hallway with two dark spots directly in front of you. Don’t step out – instead, simply press the elevator button again.

Okay, so when that elevator shuts, watch out for this black goo that covers the doors. It’ll start forming spikes, and they’ll shoot out either to the right or left. The trick is to pay attention to how the goo is moving – if you see ripples forming on the right, quickly move to the left to avoid getting hit. And if the ripples are on the left, head right! It’s all about reacting to where the goo is building up.

The elevator will open to reveal a bathroom with a sink covered in black goo. To finish the “Whose Leak is This?” anomaly mission, approach the sink and select the option to “Tighten the Faucet”.

To exit, take the elevator back down to the first floor by pressing the ‘1F’ button. Once there, you can leave through the front glass doors and return to Hethereau City.
