World War Z: Aftermath new update coming in December

As an avid gamer with a penchant for survival shooters, I am thrilled about Saber Interactive’s latest update for World War Z: Aftermath, “Sin City Apocalypse.” Having grown up watching films like Sin City and its sequel, the idea of battling hordes of zombies in this iconic setting is an exhilarating prospect.

It’s been announced that the upcoming expansion for World War Z: Aftermath titled “Sin City Apocalypse” will be available on December 5th, for both PC and console platforms.

The add-on will draw inspiration from Paramount Pictures’ film, featuring three fresh missions set in unique map areas and four brand-new survivor characters. It will offer premium cosmetics, along with complimentary content such as the “WASP-180 Defensive SMG” weapon and a novel Bells trinket.

In the dazzling backdrop of Sin City, the “Vegas” episode introduces four fresh survivors in a struggle that leads you straight into a luxurious casino on the Strip. Engage in combat against the zekes to ensure your survival while taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the town. However, remember this isn’t a holiday – it’s about outsmarting the odds and escaping with both your earnings and life unscathed! The “Vegas” episode will be accessible on December 5 for $9.99.

A night out on the town demands a little style, so Aftermath players will also be able to grab the new premium “Vegas Skin Pack” DLC on December 5 for $4.99, featuring a glamorous outfit for new survivor Sara Benedict, along with four dazzling new weapon skins, one each for the 1911 Protector Pistol, PAC-15 Sporting Carbine, WASP-180 Defensive SMG, and 1877 SBL Repeating Rifle.

There have been numerous updates for World War Z: Aftermath so far, most notably the “Battle of Arizona” content which introduced new power-ups, enabled character class swapping in horde mode, and allowed users to customize their player portrait frames. In our 2020 review of the base game, we noted that the Game of the Year Edition offered a substantial amount of content, with standouts including horde mode, challenge mode, multiplayer, and five story missions, each containing multiple chapters. We also mentioned that the variety of character classes to level up kept things interesting for an extended period.

World War Z: Aftermath is out now for PC and consoles.
