Xbox Game Pass just got two new games available on day one, one of which is the fun and frantic party game Crashout Crew. These additions are the 17th and 18th games added to the service in May 2026, making a total of 90 Game Pass releases so far this year.
Over half of the games added to Microsoft’s subscription service in May 2026 were available to play on the day they were added. Before this month, the most recent game to arrive on the service was the strategy RPG Echo Generation 2 on May 27th. Other day-one releases this month included Luna Abyss, Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, Black Jacket, Mixtape, Outbound, Motorslice, and the Xbox Series X/S version of Escape Simulator.
Kabuto Park and Crashout Crew Join Two Xbox Game Pass Tiers on Day One
I was so excited to see two new games added to Game Pass on May 28th! We got Kabuto Park, which looks like a really fun bug-collecting adventure, and Crashout Crew, a hilarious party game where you drive forklifts. If past releases are anything to go by, it seems like both of these will eventually make their way to the Premium tier, probably sometime between late 2026 and mid-2027. I can’t wait!
The new games arriving on May 28th appeal to very different players. Kabuto Park is a relaxing, single-player adventure where you catch and train bugs, similar to Pokemon, with the goal of becoming a Beetle Battle champion. It includes over 40 different bug types to collect – and intentionally excludes spiders to make it enjoyable for people who are afraid of them. In contrast, Crashout Crew is a fast-paced, cooperative multiplayer game that’s easy to learn but offers plenty of opportunities to improve your skills.

This month, Xbox Game Pass is adding Kabuto Park and Crashout Crew. However, on May 31st, several popular games will be removed, including role-playing favorites Metaphor: ReFantazio and Persona 4: Golden. Spray Paint Simulator, Crypt Custodian, and Against the Storm will also be leaving the service on that date.

Xbox Game Pass is getting two new additions on June 2nd: Final Fantasy 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3. We expect to hear the full list of games coming next month around that same date. One confirmed game is Beastro, a cooking adventure with roguelite elements, developed by Timberline Studio. It will be available on Game Pass starting June 11th.
