After three years in development, the game Outbound was released on PC and consoles on May 11th at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. It’s also immediately available to players with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. While the game is on Game Pass, it’s currently unknown when it might be added to the more extensive Game Pass Premium library, though estimates suggest November 2026 as a potential timeframe.
By March 2026, the game Outbound had been wishlisted over 1.3 million times on Steam, gaining an average of more than 50,000 wishlists each month since its page went live.
