Due to leaks, fans had been anticipating it, but now, “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy” has officially joined “Xbox Game Pass“. This 2017 collection of popular platform games featuring a quirky marsupal is just the second Activision title added to Xbox Game Pass since Microsoft’s acquisition in October, but it certainly won’t be the last. One of the most eagerly awaited games is none other than “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6“, scheduled to debut on Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release on October 25.

For now, lots of gamers are likely to have a fun time dabbling in some platform gaming with the “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy”. This set, created by Vicarious Visions and distributed by Activision, offers remastered versions of the first three games from the beloved series: “Crash Bandicoot”, “Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back”, and “Crash Bandicoot: Warped”.

On August 8, the game collection known as Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy was added to Xbox Game Pass, expanding its already extensive selection catering to various gaming preferences. The refreshed graphics, along with remastered cutscenes, music, and voice acting, are highlights of these updated versions of the original games. Enhancements include a unified save/load menu, checkpoints, autosaves, and improved gameplay mechanics. Additionally, both an incomplete level and a brand-new one are included. The compilation garnered mainly positive reviews upon release and has continued to be popular, reaching 20 million units sold seven years after its debut.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilory Comes to Xbox Game Pass

Starting July 10th, there will be significant changes to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription services, including a price adjustment for both Game Pass PC and Ultimate. This adjustment, which follows a similar hike last year, will take effect for current subscribers on September 12th of next year. As a result, gamers who were paying $14.99 per month for their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription in June 2023 will need to pay $19.99 monthly starting September 2024. With this increase, many are questioning whether the subscription is still worth the cost, while others believe the value they receive as subscribers justifies the price hike.

It’s certainly a matter of personal play preference. Some gamers have revealed that they only play a few Xbox Game Pass titles a year and feel they would ultimately save money by just purchasing individual games. Others take full advantage of the more than 100 games offered in the Ultimate tier, sampling the catalog like foodies at a buffet. For those who like to have a broad choice of titles readily available but are still leery of the raised prices, Xbox Game Pass Core offers a semi-fixed library of about 25 games for $9.99 a month.
