On May 15th, Xbox Game Pass will remove at least five games, including Galacticare. This latest update means a total of 44 games will have left the service by 2026.
Okay, so Game Pass just had a pretty big clear-out on April 30th – it was the biggest removal of games in over a year, with nine titles going! I’m already checking to see what’s leaving next, and it looks like Microsoft just updated the Xbox Store with five more games that are marked as “Leaving Soon.” Definitely need to prioritize finishing those before they’re gone!
Xbox Game Pass Losing Galacticare, Go Mecha Ball, and Three More Titles Soon
On May 15th, several games will be removed from the service, including Galacticare, Go Mecha Ball, Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo, PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship, and Planet of Lana. Galacticare, a sci-fi hospital simulator from Brightrock Games, has received the best reviews of the departing titles, boasting an average score of 83 and an 88% recommendation rate on OpenCritic. Originally added to Xbox Game Pass in May 2024 on its launch day, Galacticare is leaving just before its second anniversary. During its time on the service, it was also available through the Xbox Game Pass Standard (now Premium) tier, which initially didn’t include the game but added it in March 2025.

The racing game PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship was added to Xbox Game Pass on February 5, 2026, and will be leaving after a little over three months. While most games stay on the service longer, this isn’t unusual for games made by the developer 3DClouds. Their previous PAW Patrol game, PAW Patrol World, was also removed after a short time, but it had been on Game Pass before. This is the first time PAW Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship has been available on the service before its removal.
This list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass comes from the app itself, so it might not be complete. The app’s ‘Leaving Soon’ section is usually pretty accurate, but it hasn’t always been perfect. Microsoft sometimes announces extra games leaving around the time new ones are added. Occasionally, a game listed as leaving will actually stay available for a few extra weeks or months.

We should know by May 5th if this information is relevant. Microsoft usually announces the first batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass each month on that date, including what’s being added and removed. Final Fantasy 5 is also expected to be available on the service starting that day. So far, nine games have been confirmed to be released on Xbox Game Pass in May 2026.
