For those who have been living under a rock (or on a remote planet with no internet connection), here’s the lowdown:

  • XRP, the native token of the Ripple ecosystem, has finally achieved what can only be described as “lift-off” 🚀, reaching a new all-time high after a mere seven years of waiting.
  • A certain analyst, who shall remain nameless (but has a whopping 140,000 followers on X), claims this is only the beginning of a wild ride.

Now, we know what you’re thinking: “But what about the controversy surrounding XRP’s all-time high?” Well, let’s just say it’s a bit of a mess. Different exchanges and data aggregators can’t seem to agree on the numbers. However, according to the all-knowing CoinGecko, XRP has indeed blasted past its previous peak of $3.4 and is now sitting pretty at over $3.6.

Coinbase, Binance, and Bitstamp all concur, because who doesn’t love a good consensus? The XRP Army is, of course, ecstatic, with celebrations erupting on X and multiple “I told you sos” being thrown around like confetti. And because no party is complete without a few outrageous predictions, we’re seeing some… interesting price forecasts.

The market capitalization has also set a new record, because why not? It’s now sitting at a whopping $210 billion. We’re not sure what’s more astonishing, the number itself or the fact that people are still using the phrase “market capitalization” without bursting into laughter.

Ali Martinez, the aforementioned analyst, is taking a victory lap, praising the move and pointing to a certain metric that suggests further gains are on the horizon. Because who doesn’t love a good “I told you so”?

He previously noted that if XRP manages to close above $3 and break its all-time high, it could shoot up to $4.8. We’re not sure what kind of crystal ball he’s using, but we’re intrigued.
