As a researcher with experience in the cryptocurrency market, I find the recent surge in inflows into XRP-focused investment products to be an intriguing development. This brings the total to $3.2 million since June and $18 million since the beginning of the year.

Recent data from CoinShares’ latest report indicates a resurgence in investments into XRP-centric products. The inflow of funds into these exchange-traded products saw an uptick of over $300,000 last week.

I’ve analyzed the data and found that our investments in XRP-related products have brought the total to $3.2 million since June, and a grand sum of $18 million since the beginning of this year. Among these, investments in Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC), and Chainlink (LINK) hold significant positions on our list.

As an analyst, I’ve noticed that XRP has been performing exceptionally well against its major alternative cryptocurrency counterparts in terms of exchange-traded product (ETP) inflows and outflows this year. Specifically, ETPs related to XRP have recorded approximately $25 million in inflows since the beginning of 2023. Conversely, there have been outflows totaling the same amount for Ethereum-based ETPs during the same period.

The increase in investments flowing into XRP-linked products over the past few weeks contrasts with the overall trend of outflows, indicating a favorable view towards XRP among traditional financial market investors.

Is XRP ETF possibility?

As a researcher studying the digital asset market, I’ve noticed that the proposition of an XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF) has been a popular topic among enthusiasts throughout this year. History shows us that increased inflows into Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) can signal the possibility of upcoming ETF offerings. Introducing such investment vehicles would make it simpler for both institutional and retail investors to gain exposure to XRP, potentially amplifying its market allure.

Despite regulatory challenges and market constraints being important considerations, the increasing demand for XRP investment via Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) indicates a rising trend towards simpler and more accessible crypto investing options.
