Overwatch 2 Stadium Game Mode Arrives April 22

15 characters are showcased in the Overwatch 2 Stadium trailer, with Blizzard intending to introduce more in the future. The roster includes Soldier: 76, Genji, Reaper, Ashe, Mei, and Cassidy as damage heroes; Juno, Ana, Moira, Kiriko, and Lucio for support roles; and Reinhardt, Zarya, Junker Queen, and Orisa as tanks. Although not in the trailer, D.Va is hinted at through other promotional materials for Stadium in Overwatch 2, suggesting she may also be playable. The game mode features shortened versions of familiar Clash, Push, and Control maps, along with a new map, Gladius, set within the Colosseo arena.

The Stadium gaming feature is introduced when Season 16 starts on April 22nd. Previously, Overwatch 2 has expressed its ambition for Stadium to become a significant aspect of the game, alongside staples like Quick Play and Competitive modes. Therefore, players should anticipate regular updates for Stadium in the upcoming months.
