You Won’t Believe What Bitcoin Did While Everyone Was Quietly Napping!

Oh, what a peculiar Sunday it was! The mysterious and mischievous Bitcoin, lord of the cryptocurrencies, tiptoed right up to the astonishing number of $105,000. (To be dreadfully precise, it gave Bitstamp a ticklish $104,958 — close enough to buy about a gazillion Wonka Bars.)

This dazzling digital coin has now pranced above the magical $100,000 line not once, not twice, but twelve splendid times. One wonders if it’s auditioning for a circus act or just showing off to impress the other coins in the jar. 🎪

Hush… So Quiet You Could Hear a Mining Rig Whine

You’d expect the streets to be filled with jubilant grandmas buying Bitcoin with their pocket money, and technophobes screaming in delight. But, oh my! Retail investors are just standing in the corner, sipping tepid tea and doing absolutely nothing. Zilch. Nada. Not even an eyebrow twitch.

Tom Lee (of the House of Fundstrat) called this silence “strange.” Stranger than a three-headed duck, I dare say, because, let’s face it, Bitcoin’s been tap-dancing through price charts for days.

“Funding rates are also as low as an ant’s kneecap compared to previous price picnics. When the crowd does arrive, they’ll likely stampede in, knocking over chairs and upending the punch bowl,” Tom mused, probably with one eyebrow arched farther than the other.

Will jolly old Bitcoin reach new mystical heights? Or will it pout and stomp back down? Nobody really knows — it’s a bit like trying to predict if a snozzcumber will ever taste good.

Enter Todd Butterfield, the veritable chart-whisperer, who claims Bitcoin is now “lightly overbought.” (Lightly! As if he’s ordering a salad.) So we might be in for a bit of a slip, a slide, perhaps a trip over our own digital shoelaces.

Our Technometer is finally overbought for #Bitcoin We look for a pullback here…. #Wyckoff

Reddit’s Crystal Ball — Or, How to Feel Smug Fourteen Years Later

While everyone else is gnawing their knuckles, a shockingly accurate Reddit post from 2011 has resurfaced, like an old book falling from a dusty shelf. Picture this: u/oldie101, clearly not a time-traveling fortune teller (wink wink), boldly declared on r/MarkMyWords that Bitcoin would breach $100,000 by 2025.

“Just realized why I was getting notifications. No, I didn’t hodl. Bought and sold as life moved on. Still hodl a bit, but could have been long retired if I trusted myself long ago,” the user confessed, surely with the faint taste of regret — but also with the smug satisfaction of having been freakishly right all along. 🕵️‍♂️💰
