Zeus Network Launches New dAPP APOLLO

As a seasoned researcher with a penchant for all things blockchain and DeFi, I find myself intrigued by the recent announcement of APOLLO dApp by Zeus Network. Having spent countless hours immersed in the crypto-verse, I’ve seen my fair share of projects promising the moon but delivering pebbles. However, with over 15,000 wallet connections in just 72 hours and expectations of 100,000 participants, APOLLO seems to be striking a chord with the masses.

Zeus Network unveiled the debut of their decentralized application (dApp), APOLLO, which was constructed using the Zeus Program Library (ZPL). This launch marks the last Testnet phase for integrating Bitcoin‘s liquidity within the Solana network’s infrastructure.

Apollo streamlines the integration of Bitcoin within Decentralized Finance (DeFi) on the Solana network by facilitating the transformation of Bitcoin into zBTC, a token native to Solana.

Within a span of 3 days, more than 15,000 digital wallets have linked up with our test network. We anticipate that this ongoing phase will attract over 100,000 individuals, underscoring growing curiosity about our project.

In the APOLLO testing environment, users have the opportunity to try out tBTC (wrapped Bitcoin), exchange it for zBTC within the platform, and then retrieve their zBTC back as Bitcoin on the blockchain.

In simple terms, this testnet allows you to connect several digital wallets such as Muses Wallet, Solana Wallet, and Bitcoin’s Development Network Wallet. It also offers programs like the Two-way Peg Program and zBTC Minting Program. Currently, there are ongoing advancements in improving its liquidity management system.

On the Galxe platform, Zeus Network has established a points system named “Prophecy of Light” as a testnet feature. By actively participating, users can accumulate Galxe Loyalty Points that can later be exchanged for incentives on the APOLLO mainnet in the future.
