Right from the onset of its mainnet operations, ZeusNode will have two types of security providers: Guardians and Institutional Guardians. Regular Guardians can lend their ZEUS tokens to the network, while Institutional Guardians are designed for larger institutions capable of handling substantial amounts of Bitcoin.

By employing a Multi-Party Computation (MPC) method, ZeusNode Guardians guarantee that Bitcoin transactions within the Solana network are both secure and trustless. This process involves a decentralized verification and signing mechanism, enabling smooth Bitcoin transactions across Solana’s blockchain. The Guardians uphold the authenticity of each transaction and adhere to the network’s security protocols simultaneously.

Justin Wang, one of the co-founders and CEO at Zeus Network, firmly believes that launching ZeusNode will be crucial in providing exceptional Bitcoin liquidity to Solana’s flourishing network.

Zeus Network and its Guardians are revolutionizing how Bitcoin’s liquidity is utilized, offering open avenues for the integration of Bitcoin on Solana. These newly established avenues facilitate both investment and validation, making Zeus an ideal choice for Bitcoin owners and institutions aiming to capitalize on Bitcoin in a high-performance setting.

ZEUS savings are restricted for half a year, but Bitcoin investments can be handled freely. To start, the value of ZEUS to Bitcoin is established at 20,000 units of ZEUS to 1 unit of Bitcoin, which facilitates the introduction of Bitcoin’s liquidity into the system.

Furthermore, token holders of ZEUS can assign their tokens to Guardians, thus enhancing the network’s security and receiving incentives in return.

As per the revised plan for the ZeusNode project, establishing a robust infrastructure will be the primary focus during the initial phase (ZeusNode Epoch 1). This will require 25 Bitcoins (BTC) and 500,000 ZEUS as key resources for the platform.

Over the next two periods, our team’s primary goal is to grow to include four additional Guardians and introduce Institutional Guardians. This expansion will allow us a maximum BTC capacity of 1,100 units, with the potential for up to 12 million ZEUS delegates.
