Shibarium Faces Temporary Outage: Details

According to a recent post on the X social media platform by Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya, Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 solution, is currently experiencing an interruption in service.

Dhairya explained that the outage was caused by networking issues amongst the validators.

Currently, the network is functioning again according to the latest news report. Yet, as pointed out by Dhairya and the Shibariumscam website, as well as external RPCs, may continue to experience downtime as the team tackles external problems.

Team members outside of Shibarium, who are currently working on our infrastructure, have been advised to contact Dhairya about the latest technical issue.

Recently launched Shibarium experienced some technical challenges right from the start, according to U.Today’s reports.

Based on Shibariumscam’s reports, the network has achieved significant success, as shown by data. The Shibarium blockchain has processed over 400 million transactions, and the number of wallets is close to reaching 1.7 million. On a typical day, it records around a million transactions. However, on April 21, the transaction volume dropped drastically to only 10,040.

Shiba Inu’s price rally

According to U.Today’s report, there was a significant price surge of over 10% for the well-known meme token, as well as for other humorous cryptocurrencies such as Bonk (BONK), based on the Solana platform.

According to information from CoinGecko, the cost of Shiba Inu (SHIB) has decreased by 1.8% in the last 24 hours. It’s unclear if this slight decrease is due to investors cashing out their profits or as a result of Shibarium encountering a technical issue recently.
