However, it’s worth noting that even the creator of Boruto, Ikemoto, can’t keep them sidelined forever. We can expect Naruto and Sasuke to make a comeback eventually. For now, Naruto Uzumaki is still alive but sealed away by Kawaki. The unsealing of Naruto is anticipated to occur after the confrontation between Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki.

In the storyline, Sasuke Uchiha has been transformed into a tree, and it appears his release might take some time yet. If this happens, Naruto and Sasuke’s collaboration would be crucial, and it could mark their last battle before they step away from the ninja lifestyle.
