One Piece Reveals Zoro’s True Final Opponent—And It Isn’t Mihawk!

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.

Summary

  • Zoro Vs Mihawk will happen before Luffy becomes Pirate King, setting the stage for Zoro’s final opponent.
  • Luffy’s true dream will be fulfilled after all Straw Hats, including Zoro, achieve their goals.
  • Zoro’s final fight will be against Nusjuro, a battle teased by Oda that may surpass the intensity of the Mihawk showdown.

It’s not unexpected that each member of the Straw Hat crew is on the verge of accomplishing their objectives, given they’re deep in the Final Saga with One Piece. Luffy has ascended to the rank of Yonko and stands just one step away from claiming the title of Pirate King.

As I watch, Zoro steadily advances towards Mihawk, who’s renowned as the world’s strongest swordsman. It’s only a matter of time before they clash, and fans eagerly anticipate this showdown. Yet, it’s important to remember that this might not be the final opponent Zoro will face. There could still be another formidable adversary Oda has yet to unveil for our determined swordsman.

Zoro Vs Mihawk Will Happen Before Luffy Becomes The Pirate King

  • Luffy’s Dream Will Be Accomplished After Everyone Else’s
  • Luffy’s Goals Are Always Left For The End

In the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates realizing their aspirations, readers can anticipate that Luffy will achieve his ultimate goal before anyone else. While Luffy aims to become the Pirate King, there’s another dream hidden beneath, which the author, Oda, has yet to unveil in the narrative. As of now, the specifics of Luffy’s dream remain a mystery to readers. However, it’s clear that his dream won’t be realized until after everyone else has accomplished theirs. Since each Straw Hat has a significant dream, if they achieve their dreams after Luffy, the primary objective we’ve been following since the start may appear less substantial. In much the same way as Oda reserves Luffy’s battles for last, he also maintains a similar strategy when it comes to the ambitions of the Straw Hats.

Compared to that man, you’re actually more human. — Zoro to S-Hawk

If Luffy ever ascends as the Pirate King, it’s only a matter of time before Zoro has earned the title “The World’s Greatest Swordsman.” Eventually, Zoro and Mihawk, known as the world’s strongest swordsmen, will clash in an epic battle that fans are excitedly anticipating. However, even after Zoro manages to defeat Mihawk and claims the title, he won’t cease his combat.

Zoro Will Fight Nusjuro In The End

Zoro Vs Nusjuro Is Inevitable

Although the battle between Mihawk and Zoro in “One Piece” promises to be thrilling, it’s likely not their final encounter. After Luffy claims the title of Pirate King, fans can anticipate a confrontation between Zoro and the Five Elders, as well as the Celestial Dragons. This battle will pit Zoro against Nusjuro, a fight hinted at by Oda and one that is unavoidable. The significance of this duel surpasses any other Zoro fight because Nusjuro might have ties to Wano and Ryuma, making it the clash that cements Zoro’s position as the World’s Strongest Swordsman.

What? Is that Kitetsu? — Zoro to Nusjuro

Nusjuro Might Be Stronger Than Mihawk

Mihawk is widely recognized as the world’s top swordsman, a title possibly earned by defeating the previous holder of that title. However, the Five Elders view themselves as distinct from humans and regard their titles and accolades more as spectacle than reality. It’s important to note that even if Mihawk is the greatest swordsman, Nusjuro might be stronger given his immortality.
