In just a few weeks, on April 3rd, The Last of Us Part II Remastered will make its debut on PC systems. To commemorate this event, they’re unveiling fresh content titled “No Return” as a complimentary addition for PlayStation 5 users.
The brand-new “No Return” content for The Last of Us Part II is set to debut simultaneously on both PC and PlayStation 5 when the free 2.0.0 update is released. This major update brings four fresh maps, two new characters, some shiny new trophies, and additional bug fixes to enhance your gaming experience.
What’s New in TLOU 2 No Return?
In the game The Last of Us 2, the initial fresh map for its No Return mode is named Overlook, offering a panoramic perspective of Seattle cityscape. Following this is School, a location where gamers may recall battling W.L.F alongside Ellie and Dina. Next up is Streets, which takes place in Hillcrest’s decaying residential area. Lastly, there’s Nest, an infected-ridden building that players cleared as Abby in The Last of Us Part 2.
In the latest PS5 update for The Last of Us 2, Bill and Marlene have been introduced as two new characters for the game mode “No Return.” Bill is a ‘Smuggler’ with unique abilities such as using a custom pump shotgun, earning double rewards from drops, and defending himself against melee attacks but lacking the ability to dodge. On the other hand, Marlene possesses the ‘Risk Taker’ play style, which equips her with a Custom Assault Rifle, allows for ‘All or Nothing Gambits’, and grants her the power to alter her “No Return” path once per run.
The Last of Us 2 Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Jacket
Additionally, Naughty Dog is providing some cosmetic content for The Last of Us Part II together with the No Man’s Land expansion; it will be accessible for free on both PC and PS5 platforms. This new content includes a jacket for Ellie, inspired by Jordan A. Mun’s character from their upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Players can acquire this skin by accumulating in-game rewards points.
