Best Grass Decks In Pokemon TCG Pocket – PTCGP

In the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCGP), Zoroark is one of the Dark-type Pokemon. To counter Zoroark’s decks, it’s advisable to play a Grass deck within PTCGP. Effective Grass decks, such as a Meowscarada deck combined with a Buzzwole EX deck in PTCGP, are capable of defeating Zoroark.

As a seasoned Pokémon TCG player, I can confidently say that Buzzwole EX remains one of the formidable figures in grass decks. My strategy is to gradually assemble Buzzwole EX from my bench, leveraging Pheromosa and Kartana to apply some initial pressure on my adversary early in the game. Given that this deck exclusively features Ultra Beast Pokémons, once Buzzwole EX is fully prepared, I can use Celesteela’s ability to swap it into the active position. This will empower Buzzwole EX to deal a devastating single blow to any Dark Pokemon occupying the opponent’s active spot.
In this Grass-type deck, key cards such as Leaf Cape, Erika, and particularly Lusamine, provide significant support. Notably, Lusamine becomes crucial when the deck’s momentum starts to wane and a Buzzwole EX is gradually emerging.

While a Pokémon named Meowscarada typically excels against EX decks, it’s also effective against Zoroark due to its aggressive nature at the start of the game. Moreover, during Zoroark’s drop events in the PTCGO platform, both advanced and expert stages feature Darkrai EX, making Meowscarada more useful in these scenarios. Remarkably, Meowscarada can defeat Darkrai in a single move, making it an ideal counter to Zoroark decks.
Players can employ the Sprigatito cards to find other Pokemon, resulting in fewer Trainer cards remaining in the deck. Later, use Meowscarada for initial assaults to hinder the development of Darkrai EX or Zoroark. Decidueye EX is particularly useful for targeting supporting characters, especially if a wounded Darkrai or Zoroark moves to the bench from the field. For added aggressiveness early in the game, players can exchange Decidueye EX with Tsareena and her aid cards such as Mallow.
