Recently, Overwatch 2 has unveiled a fresh set of hero skin ideas in certain player surveys. These ideas range from High Fashion Mafia and Monster School skins to Cyber Angels and Holographic Goths. Introducing these new cosmetic concepts to the game would certainly make it more engaging.
Beginning from December 2023, every few months, Overwatch 2 has distributed player surveys featuring concept art for potential hero skins under consideration. This practice not only allows Blizzard to gauge fan interest in upcoming cosmetics but also previews some of these ideas within the community before they hit the market.
New Overwatch 2 Skin Concepts from September 2025
Hey there fellow gamers! Guess what’s popping up online again? That’s right, another round of survey skins for Overwatch 2 has surfaced, this time shared by Reddit user CosmiqCowboy who goes by the handle OW2. And wouldn’t you know it, there are over 40 unique skin concepts to check out from a fresh batch of surveys released in September 2025!
These cool cosmetics are categorized into 10 different themes like High Fashion Mafia, Retro Cute, Fairytale Warriors, Futuristic Hospital, Fall Fashion, and many more. So go ahead and take a peek at these exciting designs that could potentially be added to the game in the future!

Although it’s not certain that any of these proposed cosmetics will eventually appear in the game, there’s historical evidence suggesting that Overwatch 2 may bring survey-inspired character skins to life, as seen with the Norse Mythology skins from Season 14, Demon Rock Band skins from Season 16, 8-bit skins from Overwatch 2 Season 17, and the summer and flower-themed skins from this current season. However, it’s typically a year or more before survey skins are introduced into the game, so fans might not see any cosmetics from the current set any sooner than summer 2026.
Three times this year, we’ve seen surveys similar to this one. On average, a new one emerges about every two to five months. Although there’s a chance a fourth survey might be released before the end of the year, it’s more probable that the next one will materialize in Overwatch 2 around early 2026. Players should stay alert for more such cosmetic ideas around this period.
Simultaneously, players of Overwatch 2 have a lot to anticipate within the game currently. The release of Season 18 on August 26 introduced several exciting elements such as a new support hero named Wuyang, an overhaul of the Perks system, and various in-game events including an Overwatch 2 x NBA collaboration featuring Luka Doncic, which offers 77 free Loot Boxes. Another hero is set to debut in Season 20 later this year, ensuring that gamers will remain entertained as they wait for more survey skins to potentially appear.
